- The black market: chợ đen
Ex: You can go to the back to change dollars. But if you change money on the black market, you often get more money for each dollar
- To feel blue: cảm thấy buồn chán, tẻ nhạt

- In black and white: trắng đen rõ ràng ( giấy trắng mựt đen)

- In the black: tình trạng thoải mái về tiền bạc ( trong dữ liệu kế toán hoặc ngân hàng màu đen tượng trưng cho số dương, số dư)

- Out of the blue: bất thình lình, bất ngờ
Ex: The news of the factory's closing came out of the blue. No one was expecting it
- The red carpet: thảm đỏ
Ex: When the movie start visited, our town rolled out the red carpet. There was a parade and a special dinner in her honor
- Red tape: thủ tục hành chính phức tạp
Ex: Every time you want to get a passport, you have to go through a lot of red tape. It's not easy and it takes a lot of
- A white lie: lời nói dối trắng trợn
Ex: I didn't feel like going out. So I told a white lie, and I said I didn't feel well
